Hi! My name is Sage Hummel. My pronouns are they/she. I am a senior at the University of Cincinnati DAAP enrolled in a five-year program. I currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio majoring in Fine Arts with a focus on ceramics. Art and creativity have always been passions of mine; my mother was a teacher and photographer, so I was exposed to the art world from a young age.

Through my ceramic and 2D work, I explore the human body, relationships, nature, climate change, and my impact on the world. While working with photography, I am able to show others their own beauty and allow them to see themselves from another perspective.  

I plan to teach art in a variety of educational settings after I graduate. Though I am open to teaching different age groups. I am excited to help students of any age in their creative education! I am excited to continue helping my students grow into the artists they are meant to become.
